Every article on this site goes through the same process before it goes live. Here is how it works and what we hold ourselves to.
How we make articles
Research
We research each topic using product documentation, nail tech forums, manufacturer specs, and community feedback. AI tools help gather and organize this information.
Writing
Articles are drafted with AI assistance and structured with step-by-step instructions for home use. If a technique needs professional tools or training, we flag it clearly.
Editorial review
Every article is reviewed before publishing. The review checks facts, verifies product claims against real-world feedback, and flags vague or unsupported statements.
Updates
Nail products get reformulated. Trends change. We go back and update old articles when the information no longer holds up.
How we handle facts
Product claims are verified against manufacturer data and user reviews. When we cite a study or statistic, we link to the source. When we get something wrong — and it happens — we fix it and add a correction note at the top of the article so you know what changed.
Affiliate links and editorial independence
Some articles contain affiliate links. We earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. But we pick what to recommend based on research and user feedback, not commission rates. We have skipped affiliate programs for products with poor reviews. Our Affiliate Disclosure has the full details.
AI in our workflow
Most of our content is created with AI assistance — research, drafting, and initial structuring. Every article then goes through editorial review where a real person checks the facts, rewrites anything generic, and makes sure the advice is practical. We are transparent about this because we think the editorial process matters more than who typed the first draft.
Found a mistake?
If something in an article is wrong or outdated, tell us. Send a message through the contact page with the article URL and what you think needs fixing. If we confirm the error, we correct it and add a note.
Who we write for
We write for people with different skin tones, nail types, budgets, and experience levels. If a tutorial only works on certain nail shapes or requires expensive tools, we mention that. Not every article is for everyone, but every reader should be able to find something useful here.
